The Sunstone stainless steel vents are perfect for your BBQ Island. When building a BBQ Island it is important to properly ventilate it. Without the correct ventilation gas can build up and potentially cause an explosion. The placement of the vents on your island depends on the type of gas you are using. For propane applications you want to vent near the bottom of the enclosure. This is because propane is heavier than air and sinks. For natural gas applications you want to vent the enclosure near the top. This is because natural gas is lighter than air and rises. Generally builders will use two vents per enclosure.
